Battleweavers (Xbow/Staff) - how do you maximize your dps in pve?

Hello,

I'm switching from melee to range dps for raid, and I'm struggling to contribute in pve.

For context, as shadowdancer, I can down the 5M dummy in about 1min40, where as battleweaver, it takes almost 3 minutes with aakman xbow + heroic staff (+4).

But if you search on youtube, there are people doing close to 5M/per minute with the same class, am I missing something with this class.
