He’s in the hospital and Tony and the crew all come to see him. First, Tony bends down and kisses him on the cheek. Then Hesh, then Paulie, all close-up shots.

Then the camera pans wide, and Silvio just shakes his hand and pats it a little bit. No kiss. Then, Mikey Palmice, who had already been visiting, goes to leave. He also bends down and kisses Jackie on the cheek

Why do you think Silvio didn’t give him a kiss? Even Hesh, who obviously isn’t even Italian, gave him one.

It occurred to me that maybe the actor was sick or had a cold sore. But he had several lines in the scene and he didn’t sound sick and his face was completely unblemished. I suppose, they could’ve shot the kissing scene on a different day than the other scenes. Anyway…
