While AI-art might not be "real art", it can still be a helpful tool that allows people without artistic training to bring their imagination to life in beautiful and meaningful ways
Hear me out
Most people on Reddit dislike AI art, and I can agree with that. It's not creative. It simply mimics other art on the internet and is not human. But I think what most people don't understand is that AI-generated art is still a great tool that can help people create images that they can only imagine creating in real life. As a person who is not an artist myself, I find it very useful in so many situations when art is required and I don't have any artists at my disposal. It's more convenient and is free, unlike commissions from a real artist, and is inevitable to take over artists' jobs. AI taking over jobs is not necessarily a good thing, but it's bound to happen as technology advances.
