Flexibility in FI/RE possible?

For those who are targeting coastfi/baristafi how do you keep on track with job finding / ensuring you have sufficient income ?

For those who are on the traditional fire path, do you/ will you find another job when you RE?

In /asksingapore sub there have been a number of posts mentioning the difficulty in finding employment. 2 years back, it might be reasonable to think being coastfired or barista fired is achievable. However, given the employment environment right now, finding part time or contract based work seems to be a job in itself. I have not considered coastfi/baristafi but am now wondering about it as work life is getting increasingly frustrating.
