is it stupid to not prioritize graphics?

i mostly play fps games, and i always play them on low graphics because it just feels better. i dont really care about graphics quality, and im thinking of upgrading my laptop to a pc with a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 3060. i know bottlenecking is a thing but is it really that bad if all i care about is frames
