Where is the Love?

I feel like maybe this is too harsh of an observation, but outside of Amaya and Bryan/Iris and Pepe, the rest of the couples seem to have just settled into their connections. With Taylor and Clarke leaving, there are officially no closed off couples and idk it feels weird… like Islanders that forged real (yet fast) connections were dumped and it kinda feels like they were punished for breaking an unspoken exploration code. I even think Amaya would be gone if it weren’t for Bryan grafting to make a connection with her—and thank goodness because they really do make a good pairing. Maybe the whole Jeremiah and Huda stuff shifted the dynamics, put it feels like this season has too many “slow burners” calling the shots and dictating the experiences of others. The fact that Pepe didn’t even make a move for Iris until after TJ was gone still doesn’t sit right with me either, some of the guys are operating on like this unspoken dibs system which is irking me.
