Stopping Birth Control Timing

Hello, my girlfriend plans on stopping her birth control very soon. She’s currently on her placebo week & has taken every single pill on time/correctly too.

She’s suppose to start her pill again this week (On Thursday), However we had unprotected sex yesterday (Monday) and she plan on taking two pills then stopping. Will she still be protected from pregnancy?
