Shot in the dark - to the guy in the Walmart kitchen aisle who asked if I was single
Throwaway because I feel lame posting this, but I’ve been kicking myself ever since.
I was at Walmart on Ft Apache Sunday (7/6) around 4pm and had a short but engaging chat with a guy in the kitchen utensil aisle. He asked if I was single and I lied.
I panicked. I didn’t know what to say in the moment. I’d been crying in the car talking to a friend who’s going through some stuff. I was sweaty, puffy eyed and just trying to get through my errands. I wasn’t feeling like myself.
But as soon as he walked away, I thought why did I do that? I honestly can’t remember the last time a guy approached me in a genuine and respectful way, with no pressure. Immediate regret. I went looking for him and spent more time than I want to admit. But no luck.
So long shot, but if that was you, and you can forgive an awkward moment and a dumb little lie, DM me. Would love to chat.
