Building first Alliance HQ

I am new to the game and I am building my first Alliance HQ (Badland HQ). I don’t want to fail my alliance since the beginning, so can you give me any advices on where to build it?

I could perhaps build it next to everyone on the alliance, but that may not be the best option because we’re on the middle of bigger alliances. Maybe I should look for a place far away and next to resources? Where can I identify this resources?

Any advice is useful, thanks!
