Remote paranormal community, hurt/comfort

Hello everyone, if you've read >!Cold Hearted!< by Heather Guerre this request may sound familiar. Hoping to find similar vibes, but the Goodreads & romance.io algorithms have failed me so I hope you all have some better ideas :)

I'm looking for some paranormal romance set in a very remote place (think Alaska), so the community is small and tight-knit. I'm hoping for a community of werewolves but open to any kind of supernaturals really. I would like the FMC to arrive there to build a new life: maybe she left a bad situation, lost someone, or she just wasn't happy and decided to give herself a new start. I don't mind if she's aware of the existence of supernaturals or not, if she's human or not. As for the MMC he should be a part of the local community and be the protective, supportive, wants-to-care-for-her type.

I'm thinking something that's more about healing and rebuilding than big drama. And I don't mind insta-lust so long as nothing really happens at first, I would like the characters to develope a relationship based on respect, support and friendship before they get together.

If I were to sum up: remote paranormal community, FMC rebuilding her life there, protective MMC, caretaking, slow burn

I kept saying FMC/MMC but i'm open to MM and poly pairings. I avoid FF though, not really my cup of tea.

I recently read {The Things We Water by Mariana Zapata} which I absolutely loved. It ticks a couple of my boxes but it's not quite what I requested so with that in mind, I'm keeping my mind open and I'll be happy to hear your recommendations even if it doesn't quite match :)
