Dream of a baptism

I had a really weird dream, would love to hear what people think

I was in some kind of church or commune and I watched a bunch of men I didnt recognize host a baptism for a newborn baby. All the men were drinking wine in gold and silver cups and were quite while the head of the ceramony spoke words I couldn't even hear. They baptised the baby in wine, and I heard it crying loudly the entire time. As they baptised the baby they switched from using wine to Ice cold water (there were ice cubes in the water itself) the baby cried even louder until they held the baby up and drenched it in icewater. The baby then started to laugh/ giggle. I couldn't tell if was happy or startled by the water. I left for some reason and went down a flight of stairs to see many older women sitting at mess hall tables, they all looked worn and tired and their eyes looked dull. I noticed they all had paper cups that seemed to have crushed fruit pulp in it that was obviously startibg to mold. None of them would speak with me. I leave the building to find snow on the ground and a frozen lake, the people in the commune were breaking the ice and throwing people I knew (friends and loved ones) onto the ice where they would try to stay above the water but eventually the ice under them would break and crumble leading to them going under
