How do you find people that are actually Christian and not just using the faith as a shield for their sin.

My faith is very important to me and I want to build a relationship based upon it. When I asked family where they think would be the best place to meet someone that has the same values they just said Church (like I wouldn't have thought of that first). What I have found is that a lot of these girls go to church to keep up appearances with their parents (I'm 19 by the way and graduated high school a few months ago).

Even one of my friends was dating a girl that everyone thinks is"the perfect Christian". She goes to every church event and used to help lead worship on Wednesday. Despite this this is the same person that slept with the entire track team and gave them all mono.

This fact hasn't weakened my faith and I still go to church but it's made me not want to date people in my church. I know this kind of turned into a tangent 😅 I was wondering if anyone had advice on spotting real Christians over the fake and where are you guys are commonly hanging out.
