Is there any mention of Marquis de Sade in the red pill community? or PUA?

NSFW

I read Not All Dead White Men by Donna Zuckerberg a while back and it sent down a rabbit hole of feminist literature and started reading Andrea Dworkin because I saw her being mentioned a lot and I was curious what it was all about. I’m currently reading Pornography: Men possessing women by her right now and I’m reading a chapter of her talking about the works of Marquis de Sade which were pornographic pieces of literary work but could borderline be considered snuff from how bloody and violent it is.

Dworkin compared and contrasts two female protagonists of Sade (Justine and Juliette) where they both go through events of rape, torture and being violated but the difference was that Juliette loved it and received sensual pleasure, making her “free” while Justine hated it, making her a victim. She says that Sade’s literary friends claim that being a victim is a matter of attitude, “it doesn’t matter if it’s consensual or not, might as well enjoy it.”

Zuckerberg’s book discusses how the red pill community really looked towards ancient literary figures of Greece and the Roman Empire (ovid, aurelius, aristotle…) and that really put me in the thinking mood of other literatures used to back up their claims.

Maybe they’re not particularly fond of the violence in Sade’s work but they could still take MANY exerts out of it (especially pick up artists).

Just wondering, because I’m not immersed in the red pill community whatsoever.
