Muslim friend betrayed me

This friend of mine was such an energy vampire. She fed off my light and positivity whenever she went through dark phases but never applied the advice I could give her. Her cousin would talk bad about Hinduism and spread false lies about it, to which I explained to her the truth and how her cousins r getting false info and trying to make our religion look bad. She was an ex Muslim at the time but now she’s saying she feels compelled to go back to Islam. Is this how they are? She always asked me for teachings and I would teach her about spiritual stuff and our Gita teachings to which she would act like she cares then would go back to her hookup life, and smoking and drinking life to which I never judged and just let her do whatever. But today she said she starting to feel called back to her religion because her cousins spoke to her about their religion and she realizes how God is so loving etc, which I’ve explained to her a million times but she never listened to? But now her Muslim cousin explained it and now she’s automatically pulled in
