Do men support their families like they support women with questionable behavior?

General

I’m not here to talk about women or their attitude. This question is mainly about us. I’m not sure if this post might get removed since it’s in a men’s subreddit.

I recently came across a post in my state’s subreddit. The OP shared an image of a man saying he’s an IIT graduate, working in IT, earning ₹2.5 lakhs per month, owns a car, and has a small house. He also mentioned a girl called ‘Rebel Kid,’ claiming she’s made ₹41 crores by showing cheap attitude, using offensive language, and attracting simps earning far more money than him.

I was curious to read the comments, and I was genuinely surprised. More than women, it was mostly men supporting that girl in the comment section. They kept saying things like, 'It's her choice, it's her body, she can live how she wants.' What’s going on with men? They’re simping for her and subscribing to her. Honestly, men with that kind of mindset feel like boomers or even misogynists it’s confusing.

Whenever we talk about virginity or someone’s past, men often jump in and argue with us. My question is if those same men believe a woman's past or virginity doesn’t matter, would they be just as supportive if their own daughter or sister told them, 'I’m going to lose my virginity like this'? I doubt they would.

Then why do men show partiality toward women? I know that some women gain popularity through questionable behavior but it’s men who make them popular by simping for them. So why do we turn around and label that same behavior as 'cheap attitude'?

My question is do the men who support women like this actually stand by their own daughters, sisters, or wives the same way? I know they don’t. So why do they condemn other men when those men simply point out what she’s doing?
