IM VERY WORRIED about my brain function AND dexterity!! I can’t stop dropping things (M, 19)
I (m, 19) have started to drop stuff ALL the time. This has been going on for about a year, maybe 2 years. It’s only getting worse. My phone, pens, plates, books, Vacuum, clothes, etc etc. I’m having a lot of trouble keeping a grip on things.
But there is something MUCH weirder, that I’ve already mentioned to my doctor, that he said, “didn’t sound very serious”. it might sound like a joke but please hear me out, I have to describe it bluntly because there’s no other way to describe it.
When I’m having a conversation with someone, (usually this happens over text), but sometimes in person too. if I’m emotionally charged, or passionate, and I think of something I really want to say, I get this very weird sensation in my skull. The best way to describe it is like a super cold string attached to the crown of my head, that gets pulled, and I get this flush over my face and head. It feels like my head is being pulled backwards by a single thread, and it’s just this quiet haze feeling. Sometimes it even affects my vision, but only for like 1-2 seconds. This has been going on for about 4-5 years.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? I am not a hypochondriac, but this is definitely scaring me.
