Yourls URL shortening and google cloud VM

Hi, I'm looking to have a reliable link shortener for my small business marketing and want to gather analytics, and didn't want to pay for dynamic QR codes. I came across Yourls and saw this website that showed how to host it on Google Cloud's free VM. https://serveravatar.com/deployments/host-yourls-on-google-cloud-vm-instance

I imagine at most 300 visits/month, does anyone have any experience with this?

The workflow I came across was:

Open 4 tabs, go through them one by one,

Target url-> Matomo Kampaign URL Generator -> Yourls-> QrGenerator
