Anyone have a similar experience?💔

Currently on cycle 12 of TTC our first child, unsuccessful so far & have never seen a positive pregnancy test - so bummed out and wanted to see if anyone can relate or has advice.

Background:

• IUD (Mirena) for 8 years, no period on it - removed August 2024
• Cycles have been regular for the most part since removal, first period was ~4 weeks after removal but persistently short luteal phase (8-9 days)
• Have had positive OPKs, EWCM and temp increase to confirm ovulation every cycle
• supplemented with Progesterone x 4 cycles without any changes, luteal phase even stated shorter
• began basic fertility testing with my OBGyn including progesterone levels (typically lower, 7.8 & 8.0 on 7 DPO draws), normal FSH, LH, Prolactin, Estradiol
• AMH 5.26
• 2 pelvic ultrasounds mostly normal other than 1 paraovarian cyst that hasn’t changed / doesn’t cause symptoms
• husband’s SA was normal

This month I’m going to schedule an HSG followed likely by ovulation induction medication through my OBGyn.

Should I be making a fertility appointment instead of staying with my OBGyn at this point? Worried about the lack of a single positive pregnancy test so far. No less than 14 of my girlfriends have become pregnant quite quickly within the time I’ve only seen negatives which further worries me.
