Signing out on time, what's your take?

Hi, I'm a fresh graduate and I started working for an intl humanitarian org from EU. It still works like a corporate. OT is optional. SLA is 2-3 days. I belong to a team and the tasks are delegated equally.

While lunch on my first day, I listened to one of my teammates work during the weekends at past midnight and they just laughed it off 😭 soo side eye talaga malala!!!

I recently started training and I know that finishing all my proper tasks for the day on time was near impossible. So I asked this teammate that grinds on a weekend which is also the same that trains me btw, if I can finish the rest tomorrow. They said, yes. I logged out without thinking twice lol, that's about 15 mns past my work hours.

I also noticed that my teammates login 30-45 mns earlier before the start of the shift.

I've interned for a private MNC from EU as well before this and signing out on time or earlier is totally acceptable. I'm on a contract anyway so I don't feel like I'm locked in and I feel free to skidaddle once it ends.

So should I just give no fucks about it? I'm really firm with work life balance and I'm not a grinder.
