Help a dad out

Sleep

Baby is 3.5 months old, the wife is back to work starting this week and I have started off my 2 month paternity leave this week.

It seems the baby has started her 3/4 month sleep regression where she just wants to be held by mom and doesn't want to go to sleep without her mom. We try the 5Ss but the moment we put her down in the bassinet, she cries to no end and so we start the cycle of putting her down to sleep again.

How can we better manage the baby now? Any good practices that work well to soothe and get the baby to sleep? Any other recommendations or just words of encouragement?
