I can't decide between Navy AIRR and Army Ranger, NEED HELP

Which Branch?

Hello. I'm a 25yr old male, really interested in making a CAREER out of the military, joining either the Navy for AIRR or Army for Ranger (11x40).

But I can't decide on which one. Both do very different things and both those different things interest me.

Been to MEPS already, all good, and ASVAB is a 77.

They're both physically demanding, and right now I'm currently looking like this -

5 mile - 39:27 Chin ups no kipping - 5 1.5 mile - 10:51 Push ups - 54 Sit ups - 65

So I still have a lot of work to do to be competitive in either one. Not even to mention the swimming, I have very little swimming experience, though I love the sea.

I hear a lot of people telling me to go Navy, that AIRR and IS (potential fallback rate) both offer a far better quality of life than anything in the Army, rangers included. But I dont know how true that is.

I used to wrestle growing up, I still train in BJJ often, and typically like things that are high speed/tempo. Rangers are exactly that, being the Armys elite infantry, but does that set me up with a good career in the army? And same question goes for Navy AIRR.

Would love to get all of your advice, and wisdom that I clearly don't have but desperately need. Thank you once again.
