And that Beej would try to get onto Earth and play pranks, and Lydia would try her best to fight or prevent him from getting out.

And that Lydia will also try to make deals with Beej for her problems, as if her own pranksish, mischievous genie in a bottle.

It would have been better, more loyal to the source material, and less weird.
