To all Malay ladies here, what are your thoughts on dating Indians?

I’m saying Indians specifically because I feel like for the most part Chinese guys have it easier when it comes to dating outside their race. In my experience I find that lots of Malay girls tend to be more receptive towards Chinese guys than to Indians, but then again I might be wrong or it could just be personal bias. I had a few crushes on some Malay classmates before but I got rejected and one of the reasons why they cited was because I wasn’t their type and they preferred Chinese looks (I guess K-Pop and it’s influence has something to do with that). I wasn’t too upset and I respected their opinion but it left me wondering how cooked am I in dating if this were the case?

For the record religion is not important to me and I’m open to learning about Islam. I do have my gripes when it comes to forcing it down people’s throats but nothing against it
