[Tissot Gentleman] Are the metal bands always so sharp?

I have a citizen chronograph ecodrive and the stainless steel band has a slightly rounded edge to it so it's extremely comfortable to wear. I've never even thought of the band hurting to be a problem. Then I got the Tissot gentlemen, it's extremely aesthetically pleasing. The best looking watch I've ever seen to be honest. But the band is so sharp. It literally hurts to wear. Then I looked at pictures of other brands and bands and even the metal bands on some citizens are sharp. Are they almost all sharp like this? Sharp does look better but it's god awful to wear.
