Snapshot from Progressive

I just signed up for auto insurance through Progressive tonight. I even signed up for the Snapshot device. After reading reviews, I’m worried I made a mistake.

What are the pros and cons of the device? I drive for work and can’t afford my premium to go up. I’m thinking of returning the device as soon as it comes in.
