Should I move across the country with my bf?

Relationship Struggle

I just made this Reddit account to ask this fucking question lol. I may ramble and if so, I am sorry. Basically, I 23F and my bf 37M, are planning a move across country. I have always been more drawn to older men and I don't find that this relationship is built on that fact in any way, but I realize from an outside perspective this already sounds terrible. We have discussed our age difference at length and have been together for a year now. I honestly feel that the only negative effect it will have on our lives is displacing me in time if that makes sense. My timeline will have to move up for him... We are planning to move from NH to OR very soon and I am finding myself getting very anxious as we get closer to the moving date. My entire family is in NH and I fear I will lose my connection to them moving so far away. His family is mostly in Oregon (mother, father, sister, brother in law, nephew, niece), leaving a sister and nephew behind. I grew up in an abusive and toxic family, and I have struggled with many trust and commitment issues since then. Both of my parents also have struggled with severe alcoholism since I was very young. I've also stereotypically chosen somewhat abusive and toxic partners for myself in adult life as many people that have grown up around that do lol. His whole family has a very open relationship with alcohol and I am scared of what that means for his and my future. All I want in my life is to be rid of any substances, especially alcohol. It seems his family drinks frequently, but in a much much more controlled way than mine. I find myself unsure of how "normal" families/people handle drinking in the real world. My relationship with alcohol is very confusing and shameful for me. I think how I grew up has almost made me unable to believe that people can be nice and good at all. It is very hard for me to accept that someone will love you without wanting something in return or having an anterior motive. I try to separate myself from these thoughts, but it proves very difficult. I know my hesitancy upsets him, but it seems unavoidable at this point. Despite that, my partner now is unfortunately the first genuinely caring and nice individual I've ever known. He does everything for me and expects nothing in return. We have so many shared interests(how we met). We share political values through and through. I could picture living my life with him and I see him as the father of my children and vice versa. I have never been more comfortable with someone in my entire life (including my immediate family). It has been that way since the start and it seems we were literally cut from the same cloth. I've never understood that saying before as much as I do now. We don't have to speak to have the same thoughts in any situation. It actually has become genuinely scary to me at this point. I love him so much, but I see all the negative things and they bring me down because I know other people are thinking them. He has been married before and I fear being the second wife. I sometimes don't think his family and peers take me seriously because of our age difference. We want to have children, but I worry about our age difference and how that will rob both of us our experience. I come from a Mexican-American family that is very important to me and I am afraid he and his family will never be able to understand that. Also, being away from my family will be the hardest thing I have ever experienced. I have always been with them and I don't want to grow resentment towards him because I am not with them. I have lived in NH my entire life and my dream is to leave and explore. This seems like exactly what I've always wanted to do, but I don't want it to be for the wrong reasons. Leaving home will always be fearful, but I want to hear from a stranger's POV if this seems like the wrong call.

Sorry for the dump of information that somehow still seems to be lacking

I guess just give me your first thoughts
