It was just supposed to be an oil change! Help!
it wasn't. I need help trying to get the "engine oil filter housing cover" for the oil filter.
It's for a 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE, AWD.
I will provide the pictures of the old one (still in), the new one, and the tool required to get it out.
It was on there so tight that the plastic teeth on the old cover broke when I was trying to take it off. Please, if anyone knows if I missed something, or tricks to get this bad boy off, I would really appreciate the help.
I'm at the "find the right angle with a flat head and hit it really hard with a big hammer" point of my mental state.
