Reposting content on TikTok?

I recently saw a post in here discussing reposting content and I found a few comments saying they repost their content, but just tweak it a bit by either changing the filters or running it through CapCut before reposting. Every time I attempt to do this, when I check my account status to see why it has low views, I see that it’s been flagged and “goes against community guidelines” but the original video has a green checkmark on it approving it. Can I only repost videos I originally put on that account (such as account A can only have reposted videos from account A. account A cannot have reposted videos originally posted on account B) or is there something else going on? Thanks!!
