Some person from school “threatened” me?

I put this under serious cause of the topic, and this is a disclaimer, because some people may be triggered.

So yeah, I was walking my dog cause I am forced to do that by my parents. Well while walking I see two guys riding their electric bikes on the wrong side of the street full speed, until they got near me where they seemed to slow down a bit. (Full speed seems to be like 30-40 mph) Then the guy I recognize from school who is an asshole, no respect, rides by me and says to quote “I’ll kill you and your dog.” I don’t believe it’s a real threat, and he seems all bark no bite. He rides along still so I don’t even have a chance to say anything. When I got home I looked this guy up, cause I knew his name, to see if he was like actually someone I should be afraid of. I found his football profile and he was doing a gang sign that when I looked it up it commonly means out for blood. So yeah. I have no idea if this is just an asshole, wannabe gangster, making pointless threats. Though, this pissed me off. I don’t even care if you threaten me, you threaten my dog. What the hell is that.

Sorry for my vent, and what’s y’all’s thoughts? I posted this to this subreddit cause I am familiar with it so yeah :/
