Coilovers on 6 inch lift

I have a 6 inch rough country lift but if i buy 2.5 inch coilovers would I be sitting higher and closer to 8.5 in the front? Please let me know if you know anyrhibg about it they are expensive and i dont want to waste that much money and it not do anything, i dont know too much about suspension. If you do please let me know!
