Ghorman ISB hug Propaganda

In S2:E5, Rylanz tells Syril he thinks the ISB is running a shadow government, and that the Emperor doesn’t know what is being done on his behalf. Do you think that is something the Ghorman’s believe or is this a line Rylanz is giving to sway Syril to their side? In either event, it is just a brilliant layering of a psyop meant to spur the Ghorman Front into action. Clearly, they were meant to find out about Syril’s disgrace at the hands of the ISB and use that as a lever to get his sympathy, but if their larger belief that the Emperor is being betrayed by his own intelligence agency is real, then that’s an even bigger psyop that was done to them that we weren’t even privy to. How many other people in the galaxy believe the Emperor is a hapless victim of his own military and intelligence machine and think he’s just a swell guy? In any event, it sucks to see how much they were used as pawns and manipulated just to get at that sweet sweet DSFK.
