I've been trying to figure out when I should start lining up to get merch at the concert (I'm going to the one in Fort Worth on the 22nd) and ever since I've been keeping up with the new updates about merch being sold the day prior to the concert I've been just as confused as before 😭

They've revealed that the Seattle merch line will start at 10 am the day before and that "only lines organized by merch/security staff are valid". I'm pretty sure that was a rule beforehand anyways but it still pertains to my question. What do the staff actually do about people lining up earlier than 10 am? I know if I want to any chance of getting the merch I want I need to be there super early (which I'm fine with) but I don't understand how they're gonna navigate/control the unofficial lines that start way earlier.

Also, I'm almost certain the merch stock they're selling the day prior is separate from the stock they'll be selling the day of, meaning that things like the plushie won't be sold out the day of the concert, but I still wanted to ask and see if anyone had confirmation of this. I'm planning on going to the merch line the day before just to play it safe but I'm still curious if things could potentially sell out before the day of the concert, cause that would feel super scummy and unfair, especially for people who literally can't get there any sooner than the day of 😭

Unofficial merch lines?
