Subwoofer recommendations

Hi,

My JBL Sub 550p just stopped working and is popping and staticky. I am don't have a great system, I use infinity kappa speakers. I thought the jbl was good quality so I am looking to buy something as good or better. Trying to find something as cheap as possible, I picked up the sub 550p in 2015 for under 200 on clearance at a local shop. What are some subs I should look at, 200-250 would be great. Thanks
