Credit myth #6: Making multiple payments a month builds credit.
So I just discovered this sub a couple days ago and read the #6 myth and dont really understand it. I have a card with roughly 3k on it and I usually make a payment on it anywhere from $50 to $100 weekly on payday. I do this because it's just easier for me and I'm trying to pay it down, but i never thought about how it might affect my score since the balance would be close to the same by the end of the cycle. Could someone kind of give a simple breakdown of why making multiple payments affects it differently than one large payment?
