Do you keep full bottles of perfumes where you love them some days but hate them on others?

I was gifted a bottle of Henry Rose Windows Down. Some days I love it but other days the citrus is too screechy, I hate the woody dry down, the citrus smells like literal vinegar on me, or I hate the floral, soapy smell of the middle notes. I think I’ve noticed lately that I hate it more than I like it but I feel bad giving away a gift. Especially since it was a gift where I was taken to the store and given the option to choose the perfume I wanted.

Sometimes I don’t think I should ever buy full bottles, there has not been one fragrance I’ve had where I haven’t started to dislike it to some extent at some point. This includes skin scents too. I like to wear perfume everyday. Is that the problem? Should I start spacing out how often I wear perfume?
