HELP!
Long time NHL player, unfortunately. Sick of online games and every goal against being some glitchy unrealistic maneuver.
Started a franchise with a 33rd expansion team. Screwed up not resigning contracts at start of season and scrapped it all.
Restarted a franchise as the Pens, but again with fantasy draft instead of a rebuild.
Problems:
-
I WANT to play the games so that I'm the one in control of stats, production, line changes etc.. But 82 games is a lot. I'm about half way through the season with solid NHL/AHL Rosters.
-
I'm still learning the specifics of contracts, value, and trading. I'm afraid after grinding this whole season, I'll make some error detrimental to the future of the team and have to restart anyways but again with more knowledge.
-
Should I scrap again and make a custom league with less games per season to better enjoy what franchise offers? Give up on playing all games and stick with where I am?
Happy to expand further if anyone reads this, I have follow up questions lol
