Rocket league fix your game

I was playing comp 2s with a friend and he lagged out due to a connection issue. After the game, i left and tried to reque but it said im banned for 39 minutes for leaving a ranked game. I never left mid game and it wasn't his fault his connection caught out.

Anyone knows why this happens?
