Eye Pain & Dryness - Please help!

Hello, everyone!

I’m hoping to get some help/advice about some pretty extreme dryness I’m experiencing, particularly on my lips and eyes (my poor eyes lol).

I’m on week 9ish of tret (0.025%) for the very first time, and I recently started constantly waking up with burning, very very painful dry eyes and super dry lips. I’m hoping to hear some ways people have prevented this, or maybe some advice if I’m doing something wrong. Thank you so much for any and all insight!

AM Routine: Water rinse, moisturizer, SPF (I do wear contacts, & this is when I experience the most burning)

PM Routine: Double cleanse, SkinSmart anti microbial facial cleanser spray, slug around eyes with Vaseline (from eyebrows to under eyes in a circle), Tret, focusing mostly on jaw and cheek and trying to stay very far from eyes, moisturizer also on lower face and forehead, Carmex lip balm with Vaseline on top

I purchased some non-preservative lubricating eyedrops recently, and it provides some relief, but not enough. Please help!
