Is it just me or Killstreaks are much harder in this game?

I just got back into COD after a very long hiatus. I feel like killstreaks are way harder in this game. Even the easy ones like UAV seem very infrequent. To the point that I don't even wear Ghost anymore. Back in the day I feel like there were at least 5 enemy UAVs per game - maybe more. Same for the higher ones. Is my perception accurate or am I miss remembering the game?
