Importing data from Fitbit to Garmin

Hello, I have recently purchased a Garmin vívoactive 6. 

I am having great difficulty importing data from my Fitbit to Garmin. 

I have downloaded my 9 years worth of Fitbit data as a CSV file, but every time I tried to import the data I wanted to Garmin I got an error message.

Turns out sleep, steps, and heart rate data cannot be transferred using this method. 

I am wondering if I can transfer this data using Apple heath?

As I use a third party app to transfer my Fitbit data to Apple health.

I selected sync with Apple health in the Garmin settings, but nothing is showing up.

The only data I want transferred to my Garmin is sleep, steps, and heart rate. 

I really don’t want to start my watch off as a blank slate, I need to have the pervious information for health reasons.

Is there anyway to get it across?

If not, I am sending the Garmin back because this is very disappointing
