What happened to digitisation of all birth & death records from 1880 to 2017?

This is an article from 2022 titled "Mumbai: BMC to upload records of all birth and death certificates starting from year 1880 to 2017". https://www.freepressjournal.in/mumbai/mumbai-bmc-to-upload-records-of-all-birth-and-death-certificates-starting-from-year-1880-to-2017

Cannot find any updates what so ever. Funds were apparently allocated and disbursed. Has anyone been able to get their digitised certificate online?
