Can Dishy not be fixed with candy?

As the title says. I'm doing an all friendship route and had made sure to only get one object in each S.P.E.C. category to hate me because I wanted to be friends with Reggie too, but it's saying now that dishy is completely broken... I made him hate me way at the beginning of my game because I didn't want anyone else in Sass to hate me and he was an easy hate play through, is there anyway I can just use a candy on him?
