Are all police in Utah liars
I do not live in Utah but have traveled there a handful of times. I have been pulled over by the police a total of 3 times in Utah and all 3 times the police have lied to me about why they pulled me over. The first time, they told me I was speeding and it was about 30 minutes outside of SLC. I have a camera in my car that records the front, back, and inside the car. I told the police I was not speeding and had it on my camera showing cars speeding past me on both sides of my car when I past the police car that were obviously going a lot faster than I was. The police officer didn't admit he was lying but after I told him about the camera and my reasoning, he let me go. Second time I was pulled over was in SLC. The officer told me I did not stop at the stop sign. I told him I did and could prove it because of the cameras. He then changed his story and told me I was on my cell phone. I told him I wasn't and that my media screen in my car is very bright. I told him the camera records inside the car as well. He then changed his story again and said I was trying to pick up a prostitute. Apparently I was in an area where prostitutes hang out he told me. I told him that was the last thing I wanted since I was gay. He then let me go. This weekend I was pulled over in Kanab for running a red light. The light was not red until I was mostly through the intersection. I told the officer that it was not red and that I had it on camera. He told me he did as well. While he was writing up the ticket, I reviewed the camera and saw that the light was not red. When he brought me the ticket, I told him I reviewed the footage and it was not red. He told me he had it on camera as well. Later I looked to see where he came from since I didn't see where he was. He wasn't even on the same street as I was so how could he have it on camera if he couldn't even see the light where he was. Now I have to make a special trip to fight the ticket which is not easy since I live far away. Do all police in Utah just lie? No wonder people don't trust the police. It seems someone needs to do an internal investigation on all the police there.
