Floated to Sister hospital for the first time…

Rant

To keep it short, I was sitting 1:1 with a patient and witnessed another patient tell their tech they were wet and needed to be changed. Tech says ok, grabs the supplies and then sits down at the nurses station. Respiratory comes in about an hour later, patient says they're wet and needed to be changed again. Respiratory says ok I'll tell someone and goes to next patient room. Another hour later the nurse comes in for med pass anc checks the patient, changes her, and tells the tech they cleaned up the patient. The tech ROLLS HER EYES AND SAYS OK!! As if it's not her responsibility or her patient. That nurse also turned the patient and did a linen change, AMAZING NURSE. I think the staff were used to it because I saw a couple nurses also doing their own vitals for their patients along with changing the trash and linens. I was personally surprised. There was one tech for every 6 patients.
