I've been in this sub for quite some time now and there's a general opinion that a person who just keeps working is a pathetic loser.

Why? Just because someone loves their work and alot a lot of their time for it, they don't have any life? I've seen people who bad mouth the workaholic types because they think, because of those workas they have to do more work too. Like, if you don't want to work, just quit?
