There is. UNAM just released some data. You can see the scale here and then the average in just 1 of the holes over here.

Those things are really tiny. The average diameter as measured by the UNAM is 210 microns, Biggest one measured being 350 microns and 40 being the smallest.

A quick google search says that a single mode fiber are about 125 micrometers including the cladding diameter. Although, I'm not sure if UNAM is accounting for that in their measurements, if they are, then those are truly some tiny-ass fibers in there (and some big chunky ones too!)

EDIT. Whops, forgot to source my last paragraph. I based it off of this and this. I used single mode fibers as point of reference since those are the smallest we can manufacture!

EDIT 2. Also just in case, the paper states a chemical analysis was made by MEB (not sure what this stands for) and it can be inferred these are fiber optics. In 1 single of those black dots they found 52 single fibers, all in varying diameters. Someone above commented how big of a task it's to do something like that, let alone at that scale, and this is in just one of the holes. It's a lot just to be a simple 'hoax'.
