New Hire Benefits

My partner just got a part time job with SW as a Gate Agent or something similar. (Training starts the end of July.) He is under the impression he can add me to his travel benefits. (We are not married, nor do we cohabitate.) Wondering if this is truly an option, as I can only see this as an option for domestic partners. -Any scoop or anything else I should be aware of?
