Anyone transition later in life?

What was it like? Did you have kids? Did you like the outcome? How did family and friends treat you? 36 here and looking into starting hrt. Super scared but feel very right about it. Looking for experiences and the over all effect of possible situations. I will make my own decision and start talking with a Dr and therapist (we have already started recently on the subject).
