Surgical bodysuit for my male cat - with other cats in the house? Helpful or a waste of money?

Hi there, one of my boys are due to get his neuter on Friday and I’ve ordered a couple different sized bodysuits off Amazon. Now I’m second guessing and wondering if they’ll even be effective/ might actually be detrimental. For reference I have 3 cats at home (2 are mine 1 I’m cat sitting) who like to sniff and sometimes lick at each others testicles and butts. I am living in a bachelor apartment and the only way to separate them would be locking him in the bathroom which feels cruel. I also work a lot and don’t have anyone to watch over him. I feel like a bodysuit is my best bet to protect his incision from both himself and the other cats. Is my line of thinking correct or could a bodysuit actually disturb the wound? Thanks so much for

TLDR - male cat getting neutered, have other cats, small apartment where separation is hard, and working full time living alone so can’t keep a close eye on him for a week straight. Is bodysuit good idea, waste of money, or bad idea cuz he’s male? Thanks
