Not a professional by any means. Just a scrawny rwenty-one year old dude helping fix up some things around my mom's place.

Back in late may/Early June I dug out a section of the front yard and replaced it with pavers to make a better walkway. I used a Gravel base under the pavers and a generic playground sand between them, but next summer I think I'll end up refilling the gaps with polymeric sand.

More recently I cleaned a ton of weeds off the side of the yard (didn't get a great before pic) and filled in the side of the yard with gravel. Once the weeds were mostly pulled/cut I went over it with multiple layers of cardboard, sprayed a ton of weed killer, then covered it with fabric. That side of the yard has been overrun by weeds for years so we just ended up getting six tons of Gravel and I hauled it all into the space. I used a ton of old flagstone we had lying around the make a path across it, and used edgestones to border it from the rest of the yard. Originally the plan was to do a larger part of the yard, which is also covered in weeds but not as overrun. However it seems more likely that it will be completed next summer as well so for now they're separated, so hopefully the weeds don't crawl into the Gravel.

I have a ton of projects going on lowkey but these are the two that have been the biggest so far, and the most rewarding lol. Thanks for reading if you made it this far
